Questions people ask
Can I store my recovery phrase in a password manager?
Any online copy adds a way for the phrase to be stolen remotely. Many security guides recommend offline storage only, on paper or metal, for any meaningful amount.
What if someone finds my recovery phrase?
Assume the wallet is compromised. Create a new wallet with a new phrase on a trusted device and move your funds to it right away.
How do I pass crypto on to my family?
Make sure your executor knows the wallet exists and where to find the backup and instructions. Avoid putting the phrase itself in a will, which can become a public document in probate.
